Cody Wilson wants you to print a gun from home on a 3-D printer. He then wants everyone to be able to get access to the plans for free. Wilson is raising funds through the Wiki Weapon Project, hosted by a group that calls itself Defense Distributed. The funds are going to be used to purchase equipment to print the gun and award the prize to the contest winner. The contest is awarding a $3,000 – $5,000 prize to anyone who can design a printable gun that can fire a single .22 caliber bullet. Wilson, referring to the donors and American’s second amendment gun rights says, “I think it shows they really believe in a future where the gun is inalienable…a kind of faith in American individualism, the sovereignty of the individual.”SOURCE

New Hampshire is the first state to adopt the Jury Nullification Law. In a nutshell, the law allows attorneys to explain to the jury that if individuals don’t agree with the specific law that the charges are based on or how they were applied in the case, each juror can refuse to convict, even if the accused was technically guilty of said charges. To me, the Founding Fathers wanted this for America. A trial among your peers. If your peers don’t agree with the law that you are being charged with, they can choose not to convict, even if the evidence against the defendant is overwhelming “beyond a reasonable doubt” (more…)

No freedom loving American wants to report on this, but what happened this weekend Washington State at the Benton County Republican caucus was a disgrace. The right to vote is the most fundamental right given by the Constitution. But in Benton county, 1,500 people were kept from having their opinion heard in the Caucus on Saturday. The local GOP did not anticipate the large turn out and, under pressure to complete the vote by 11:30am, closed the doors on the 1,500 people waiting to vote. SOURCE
